Covert

Abstract

"Covert" is a 3D animated short film created by a team of three, Rodolfo Barcelli, Bervyn Chua and Celeste Chia, over a period of 14 months. Set in a fictional universe, "Convert" tells the story of a security Guard who must defend a valuable gem from a Thief attempting to steal it from the museum. Drawing from previous experience making our last animated film project "The Last Stop", The film was rendered in a game engine. This technology allowed us to be more flexible with the film as rendering time was severely cut down, allowing us to change assets, lighting, and animation well into the production of the film. This report will document the execution of my role on the film "Covert".
