Abstract: The purpose of this project aims to create 3-Dimensional(3D) shapes from 2-Dimensional(2D) objects. Folding of 2D objects into 3D shapes is a promising fabrication method which can find a wide range of applications. The 2D objects used in this project will be heat shrinkable materials. Heat shrinkable materials are pre-stretched during manufacturing and when exposed to heat, these materials would then contract into a certain 3D shape.
