Title: | From 2D to 3D based on heat shrink materials | Authors: | Lam, Alvin Zi Chiang | Keywords: | Engineering::Mechanical engineering | Issue Date: | 2023 | Publisher: | Nanyang Technological University | Source: | Lam, A. Z. C. (2023). From 2D to 3D based on heat shrink materials. Final Year Project (FYP), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. https://hdl.handle.net/10356/168252 | Project: | P-A015 | Abstract: | The purpose of this project aims to create 3-Dimensional(3D) shapes from 2-Dimensional(2D) objects. Folding of 2D objects into 3D shapes is a promising fabrication method which can find a wide range of applications. The 2D objects used in this project will be heat shrinkable materials. Heat shrinkable materials are pre-stretched during manufacturing and when exposed to heat, these materials would then contract into a certain 3D shape. | URI: | https://hdl.handle.net/10356/168252 | Schools: | School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering | Fulltext Permission: | embargo_restricted_20260523 | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
