dc.description.abstract | With automation as one of the few avenues through which society can progress, the onus is upon us to explore the feasibility of automation in every aspect. The submission of claims has been identified as a laborious undertaking and since the necessary infrastructure which captures the data for claim submission is already in place, a project has been proposed to look into the feasibility of automation. As full automation is unrealistic for a practice where a certain degree of human trust is exercised, the objective would be to reduce the amount of manual labour as far as possible. The proposed project will evaluate possible enhancements which could be incorporated into the post submission process. Report generation has been identified as an area for exploration. Based upon the basic functions and uses of reports in relation to Business Intelligence, and it’s pervasive, evolutionary force, some degree of useful results can be attained from the application of Business Intelligence in the end-to-end processing of claims. | en_US |
