Abstract: The main objective of this report is to provide the study of supply chain and logistics in construction industry. For this project, investigation and research from previous findings were conducted to determine the impact and importance of supply chain and logistics on the industry and the bottlenecks of the supply chain in the industry. The supply chain is illustrated using flowcharts that are developed by the author after the research. To validate the flowchart and to understand the role supply chain plays in construction industry further, visits to construction site to interview project managers are conducted. Material management practices in construction site and relationship between contractor and supplier are studied and discussed to determine the impact of the relationship in the supply chain.
