Authors: Mohd Mazuan Mansor.
Keywords: DRNTU::Engineering::Manufacturing
Issue Date: 2009
Abstract: This Final Year Project (FYP) report, preceded by an introductory chapter (Chapter One) is divided into two main sections. In the first section (Chapter Two & Three), the author reviews the history of grinding and the various forms of abrasives. It furthers introduce the different types of grinding and the parameters of a grinding wheel. Within this section, the author also reviews the latest literature in technology. The importance of three dimensional topographic of a machine surface is also review. In the second section (Chapter Four, and Five), the author illustrates the experimental equipments and techniques used in this research. It also explains in a step-by-step procedure how the experiments are conducted. Based on the data and graphical representations obtained, the author will discuss and evaluates the results attained in the experiments conducted.
