Abstract: Being able to communicate offline without the need for active network connectivity is convenient and provides security. The technology behind this communication is called mesh networking, it does not rely on our everyday network connection to function. This project aims to allow users to have anonymous communication in one-to-one settings or groups without the need for a network or internet connection and information of the users when interacting with one another. ChatAlone will allow users to be able to pair with other devices within the vicinity and after the pairing is done it will allow the user to communicate with one another through Bluetooth via peer-to-peer, mesh chat, or group chat. Users will be able to send messages or images to the device that they have connected to.
