Qualitative analysis on lecture notes for students

Abstract

The NTU Hero aims to address a pressing issue within the School of Computer Science and Engineering (SCSE) by developing a dynamic online platform tailored to the needs of SCSE students. The core problem under scrutiny is the challenge students faced when selecting modules for their specialisations, often due to insufficient information. The central objective of this project is to enable students to make informed choices by offering them a digital space where they can upload, access, and explore a diverse range of educational materials, including lecture notes, past year papers, and project documents. The platform combines elements of a blog site, fostering a community of knowledge sharing. Additionally, the system employs advanced analytical tools to evaluate the quality and relevance of the uploaded documents, providing insights such as the document quality metrics, and readability scores. This abstract summarizes the project’s problem, purpose, methodology, and its significance in empowering students with the knowledge to navigate their academic paths effectively.
