Abstract: This final year project presents a study of energy storage system modelling and planning followed by concluding on the most suitable and cost-effective strategy in combining short and long-term energy storage based on the Energy 2050 Committee Report to ensure grid reliability. This report is intended to be used by the government for policy planning and private enterprise for business decisions. The conclusion is presented through storage sizing calculation, power grid modelling and asset design strategy.
