Report on professional attachment with Matsushita refrigeration industries (S) Pte Ltd.

Abstract

This report gives an overview of my attachment at the personnel department of Matsushita Refrigeration Industries (S) Pte Ltd (MARIS). Basically, the report will outline the daily functions of the personnel department and what I have learnt. The functions include recruitment and selection, provide orientation to new employees, apply and renew work permit and employment pass for foreign workers, provide hostel, feedback sessions, performance appraisal, payroll, application of leave, maintenance of attendance, discipline, organize activities for employees, and resignation and exit interview. This report will also give an overview of the experiences and benefits of working in MARIS.
