Abstract: Traditional Cúk Converter has a negative output voltage with simple structure, high power density, high power transfer efficiency and variable wide range output. Unfortunately, its voltage transfer gain is very limited, usually as much as few times which restricted by the effect of the parasitic elements. The voltage–lift technique has been successfully applied in Luo-converters. This topic intends to investigate the voltage–lift technique on Cúk converter. The newly designed converters have high voltage transfer gain. Therefore, it will be very useful for industrial applications.
