Final Year Project (FYP), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. https://hdl.handle.net/10356/175056 | Abstract: | In recent years, metropolitan cities across the globe have experienced significant economic growth, leading to an upsurge in the number of vehicles. This increase has intensified parking challenges, with users often facing lengthy waits and the inconvenience of searching for available parking spaces. Addressing these issues, this project endeavours to design an automated car park system to minimise users' waiting times, optimise land use, and maximise parking space efficiency. Through the development of a simulation model, this project showcases the algorithms of the system and the advantages of deploying such a system, offering insights into how it can mitigate the challenging parking issues faced in densely populated urban environments. | URI: | https://hdl.handle.net/10356/175056 | Schools: | School of Computer Science and Engineering | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
