Abstract: The study found that the MSc (IS) course benefited the graduates in their career development, personal achievement and professionalism. Most graduates indicated that the MSc (IS) course is useful and relevant to their jobs and their skills. Hence, with the right packaging, promotion and revision of the curriculum, the MSc (IS) course could raise the profile and status of the LIS profession.
