Abstract: This paper analyzes the SLM and the functionality of it for generation of CGH in order to fully understand the device completely. This is done through research and applying a simple test to showcase how the SLM can generate a CGH. Using this research, the possibilities of discovering ways to improve current CGH generation methods may be improved.
