Abstract: Among the increasing challenges posed by the rising cost of living in Singapore, there has been an increase in the demand for effective financial planning solutions. Conventional methods like Excel often prove inadequate in addressing the intricate nuances of financial planning, primarily due to the requisite prior knowledge and experience. In response, this project offers a user-friendly alternative by developing a MATLAB application, tailored specifically to the needs of Singaporean users. This application is designed to provide an overview of financial planning processes, serving as a foundational tool for users while prioritizing accessibility and intuitive navigation. The primary objective of this project is to create an application that simplifies the financial planning process, making it more comprehensible and accessible. This report documents the implementation of the MATLAB application, detailing the development process, the rationale in design choices, and the integration of these components into a cohesive application.
