Food review app with chatbot

Abstract

Food related online platforms have been very prevalent over the last decade as people like to use them to decide on what they should try eating next. Online platforms include food review forums and food delivery applications where they both allow users to post ratings, photos and detailed descriptions of restaurants or dishes they have tried.

With the help of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, food related platforms attempt to generate possible restaurant options the user may be interested in. This is usually seen when you first enter the website or application which would hopefully grab users’ attention and overall enhance the platform’s user experience. With such advanced technology, AI Chatbots are now seen in e-commerce applications to converse with users on their situations and recommend products on the platform that can help with the given situation.

In this Project, the focus will be to develop a food review app that adapts the usage of ML and AI Chatbots to induce a more personalised user experience for people who are trying to decide what foods they should try next. To enable personalisation, the focus of the app is to create an experience for users to feel more in control while also receiving more accurate food recommendations.
