Title: | Novel coil design for tunnel-based wireless power transfer | Authors: | Muhammad Qais Bin Hasman | Keywords: | Engineering | Issue Date: | 2024 | Publisher: | Nanyang Technological University | Source: | Muhammad Qais Bin Hasman (2024). Novel coil design for tunnel-based wireless power transfer. Final Year Project (FYP), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. https://hdl.handle.net/10356/176867 | Abstract: | Wireless power transfer opens the door for many innovations because of their lack of physical limitations. Magnetic resonant coupling coils have pushed the industry to another level that can allow power to transmit a much further distance. This requires the overall system to operate at a high resonant frequency. Copper wires are used instead of traditional litz wires. This study uses High-Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) software to design coils that can operate at a set resonant frequency. Parameters of the design that can affect its resonant frequency will be considered. Overall system optimization will also be discussed here. | URI: | https://hdl.handle.net/10356/176867 | Schools: | School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
