Abstract: With the recent rapid advancements to technology, fields such as robotics have made huge strides in functional applications going from simply picking up objects to aiding in surgeries. Companies, worldwide, are now seeking to integrate robotics and automation into their businesses. The amount of investment in this field is expected to jump from $15 billion in 2010 to $67 billion by 2025 . This significant surge can be explained by the improved efficiency, flexibility and profitability from automating business operations.
