Abstract: This project focuses on the development of a vision system for the Autonomous Maritime System (AMS) to localize objects. The vision system aims to assist the AMS in completing Task 6: Detect and Dock in the Maritime RobotX Challenge 2024. This report will cover the hardware integration and software development of the vision system. This includes the camera selection, followed by the integration of the camera and enclosure with the AMS. Additionally, it encompasses software development and implementation to perform localization using a Graphical User Interface (GUI) for ease of use and testing. This report also included the results of testing the vision system as well as future improvements for the next steps of development.
