Title: | Swept volumetric display | Authors: | Teo, Wei Qian | Keywords: | Engineering | Issue Date: | 2024 | Publisher: | Nanyang Technological University | Source: | Teo, W. Q. (2024). Swept volumetric display. Final Year Project (FYP), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. https://hdl.handle.net/10356/177095 | Project: | A2010-231 | Abstract: | In today’s world, 2D screens and displays are the norm, serving as the primary interface for our digital interactions. However, these 2D technologies are limited in their representation of information. Therefore, 3D displays are getting more popular, with many ongoing research in this field, hoping to unlock practical applications to create more immersive and engaging experiences. Among the 3D displays, swept volumetric display is one of the promising areas to develop in the field of 3D technologies. Therefore, with an existing helix-based swept volumetric display implemented previously, the project was to improve it in areas such as projecting 3D animation and making use of Blender software to enhance the slicing algorithm. | URI: | https://hdl.handle.net/10356/177095 | Schools: | School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
