Abstract: This project is a final year project related to one of the mentioned research projects, Project A2. Its title is ‘Robust Urban Navigation for Autonomous Delivery Robot Platform’. The aim of Project A2 is to enhance the usefulness of Continental’s delivery robot, called Corriere. This improvement includes offering optimized AI-based navigation and scalable place identification that can be used in day as well as night time, which could help solve issues caused by lack of staff members, save on costs for a long term period and boost reliability and capacity of delivery services. This final year project report is documented with all the work done, and it is divided into these four chapters: Chapter 1 Introduction, Chapter 2 Literature Review, Chapter 3 Project Implementation, Chapter 4 Conclusion, and Future Work. In Chapter 3 there are 3 stages which includes: (1) data collecting, (2) map production, and (3) path planning.
