Final Year Project (FYP), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. https://hdl.handle.net/10356/177470 | Abstract: | "Inward" is an interdisciplinary animated project that explores storytelling through songwriting, motion capture, and visual effects. Led by Danielle Martinez and Megan Tang, the collaboration utilized XSens, Unreal Engine, and Houdini to create a 3D music video illustrating the 5 stages of grief. Danielle served as Director, Editor, Lighting Artist, Environment Artist, and Motion Capture Animator, while Megan led Character Design and Environment Art, along with 3D simulations. Set to the original song "Let Go," the video portrays a girl's emotional journey within a symbolic maze. This innovative approach and collaboration with musicians offer a fresh perspective on multimedia storytelling and emotional expression. | URI: | https://hdl.handle.net/10356/177470 | Schools: | School of Art, Design and Media | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
