Abstract: In a study inspired by personal interest and experience, When The Moon Faces The Earth explores the nuanced relationship between solitude and interdependence, tracing the evolution of my personal journey from a selfish desire for isolation to an earnest realisation and acknowledgement of the inherent need for human interaction. Through a series of reflection and experiential narratives, I dive into the complex transformative effects of solitude it has on individual identity and social relationships. With the use of the natural environment, or what seems to be, as well as an observation of tidal waves to represent this personal conflict and this work of study, depicting my process and realisation in objectification.
