Abstract: The environmental impact of Portland Cement Production has caused a significant shift towards exploring more sustainable alternatives in the construction industry. Among these alternatives, Fibre-reinforced lightweight aggregate concrete (FRLWAC) emerges as an innovative solution for sustainable building material, promising to improve the energy efficiency of structures by reducing its climate control energy expenditure while offering comparable strength properties [1]. FRLWAC combines lightweight aggregates with steel fibres, providing a solution that not only reduces the overall weight of structures but also lowers the embodied carbon footprint.
