The idea to bring NEILS outside Guwahati, where the first three NEILS meetings took place, was made possible by the devoted effort of Shailendra Kumar Singh, head of the Department of Linguistics at NEHU, and the three founders of NEILS: Jyotiprakash Tamuli (Gauhati University), Stephen Morey (La Trobe University) and Mark W. Post (La Trobe University), as well as by a generous grant from the Australian Research Council South Asia Node. | URI: | https://hdl.handle.net/10356/177725 | ISSN: | 0731-3500 | DOI: | 10.32655/LTBA.33.1.08 | Organisations: | Kyoto University | Rights: | © 2010 The Editor(s).
