Abstract: This paper looks at how various developing Asian countries calculate their landfill’s methane emissions, introduces the various methane emission calculators, proposes a new and more accurate methane calculation model, and lastly, applies that model on the Bantar Gebang landfill – the largest landfill in Southeast Asia.
