Both dialects possess three verbal categories, namely control, volitionality and evidentiality.4 Control is lexicalised in the stem of the verb. Volitionality and evidentiality are normally expressed through certain auxiliary verbs and morphemes or combinations thereof. | URI: | https://hdl.handle.net/10356/178076 | ISSN: | 0731-3500 | DOI: | 10.32655/LTBA.23.2.07 | Organisations: | University of Berne | Rights: | © 2000 The Editor(s).
