Report on professional attachment with Ng Cheng Quee Insurance Brokers (s) Pte Ltd.

Abstract

The purpose of this report is to provide a summary of the business training experience, highlighting on two particular aspects of the training that I found most interesting throughout the Professional Attachment. It will give an insight into the ASEAN industry performance pertaining to Thailand and Singapore which will benefit us when seeking employment in the insurance sector of these countries upon graduation. The investment guidelines pertaining to these countries would also benefit those who would want to invest in these countries in the near future. On Marine Insurance which I am also discussing, would also explain the cover of Marine Cargo and the insurance required to protect the clients (as owners of goods or their agents) from numerous risks connected with importing and exporting. This will complement the basic knowledge that I would be able to acquire from the books as this report covers the more practical experience that I had acquired from the attachment.
