Title: Speech enhancement using signal processing techniques
Authors: Ng, Zhi Qing.
Keywords: DRNTU::Engineering::Electrical and electronic engineering::Electronic systems::Signal processing
Issue Date: 2009
Abstract: In a normal speech environment, the speech signals sent undergo long distances and delays, before reaching the receiver side. Due to the long distances and delays involved, the speech signals received may be mixed and contain external noise. As a result, the quality of the received signals may be very poor. To overcome this, two speech enhancement techniques may be implemented at the receiving-end in order to cancel the effects of mixing and external noise.
