(BioTech) is an integrated agribusiness company located in the Philippines. The company currently operates biogas and biomass power plants, producing 35-40 tons of organic waste daily. There are 5 parallel projects with an overarching goal to innovatively unlock the potential of this waste, mainly as fertilizers. Among the 5, project #1-3 study the composition of the waste and carry out comparison with current fertilizers in the market. Project #4 and #5 aims to investigate the market potential of the BioTech’s waste-derived products. In this specific project #5, the main focus is the commercial utilization, with an ultimate goal of selling the waste-derived fertilizers to the market and make profit. The exploration first starts with a general study on agriculture status of major countries around the world, then followed by focusing on fertilizer expenses of agricultural productions. In the end, an appropriate price of the waste-derived products is suggested after investigating the market. | URI: | https://hdl.handle.net/10356/179460 | Schools: | School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
