Abstract: Many studies have opined that higher quality VR equipment enhances user immersion. However, many educational institutions lack the budget to provide expensive, high-end VR equipment for all students. Therefore this project aims to explore creating a simple metaverse prototype for virtual education, helping institutions optimize the use of their limited VR resources. The application is developed with Unity, a 3D/2D game development platform by Unity Technologies. The prototype includes key features such as multiplayer, voice chat, presentation, whiteboard and a Large Language Model interaction.
