Abstract: Shape Memory Materials (SMMs) are materials that have the ability to recover to its original shape after a deformation is applied. This ability is known as Shape Memory Effect (SME). SME is utilised in many fields, ranging from aerospace engineering to medical devices. This project studies the effects of SME in polymers.
