J. E. (2025). Enhancing tourist safety: introducing voyager, a comprehensive mobile application for informed and secure travel. Final Year Project (FYP), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. https://hdl.handle.net/10356/183717 | Project: | CCDS24-0022 | Abstract: | This Final Year Project presents the development of a tourist application designed to enhance the safety and experience of tourists. The app serves a dual purpose: providing information on tourist attractions, and enabling tourists to submit real-time incident reports. It also provides the emergency contacts that can be contacted with or without SIM cards. Users can easily explore popular destinations, categorized by interests such as nature, history, or food, while also accessing up-to-date reports of incidents submitted by fellow travelers. The incident reporting feature allows users to report accidents or hazards, cate gorized by severity, ensuring that others are informed and can make safe travel decisions. By integrating attraction recommendations with a community-driven safety system, the app aims to foster a more informed, enjoyable, and secure travel experience | URI: | https://hdl.handle.net/10356/183717 | Schools: | College of Computing and Data Science | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
