Abstract: The proliferation of new chatbots that are powered by artificial intelligence (A.I.) has altered the way humans interact with the computer, with significant growth across various types of sectors in recent years. While AI chatbots have showcased unprecedented capabilities of how it is able to simulate and converse with humans, it does raise some concerns with regards to potential user attachment or psychological impact. This raises the question of whether AI chatbots with human-like conversion abilities possess a human-like personality? The project will look into the MBTI of several online chatbot platforms, including ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude AI, Copilot, Deepseek-R1, and Qwen2.5-Max. Taking inspiration from the paper "Do LLMs Have a Personality?" Making the MBTI Test an Amazing Evaluation for Large Language Models," this project will look at the chatbots' MBTI type using the MBTI questionnaire and individual specially designed prompt for each chatbots. The results will be documented to determine whether there are any similarities or patterns among the chatbots described above.
