Abstract: Recent advances in text-to-2D models have gained significant attention, which has, in turn, raised interesting challenges for the development of text-to-3D systems. This report explores the current state-of-the-art in text-to-3D models and examines the key challenges users face when interacting with this technology. The project will explore the capabilities of state-of-the-art text-to-3D models across various contexts by developing a 3D generation and editing tool for designers, called Unified-3D. This report will cover the underlying technologies, system requirements, design, implementation, and evaluation of the application.
