Abstract: The Final Year Project (FYP) is a critical component of each student’s academic journey at the College of Computing and Data Science (CCDS). To facilitate the proposition, allocation, and examination of FYPs, the Final Year Project Application (FYP-APP) was developed to streamline these processes. This project continues the ongoing development of the FYP-APP, focusing on completing key features, enhancing user experience, and improving maintainability. Additionally, it aims to transition the system into production, eliminating reliance on the bug-prone legacy system. This report details the contributions made in feature development, system enhancements, and database restructuring to ensure long-term maintainability, along with the challenges encountered during the process.
