Teaching lab asset asset management system

Abstract

Asset Management System and Inventory Management System is a complete web-based application developed with meticulous care to optimize the management of laboratory equipment and, at the same time, improve the auditing and tracking process of laboratory assets in NTU's College of Computing and Data Science (CCDS). Developed on the RedwoodJS framework, this combined system is intended to address the limitations that result from fragmented and outdated manual processes by offering an integrated and user-friendly platform. The system has been designed with a focus on satisfying two fundamental operational requirements: improving the tracking and auditing of assets and facilitating equipment loans to students in an efficient and scalable manner.
