Abstract: A live-action mini-series adapted from the popular game Genshin Impact, developed by miHoYo. Liyue is an original story that follows Zhongli, an individual with the highest hierarchical status in Liyue, as he rediscovers his humanity in the aftermath of war. Throughout his journey, he encounters socio-economic challenges arising from rapid economic growth. The original story preserves the world’s concept and characters while adding more realism and a logical touch, bringing anime-style characters to life. A period drama with fantasy elements, it delves into various social controversies such as hierarchical systems, relationships, and environmental and social responsibility. Liyue is an audience-driven script designed to highlight issues that people often take for granted, with the intention of promoting positivity. The purpose of the project is to combine entertainment and moral values education.
