This research will explore, analyze and validate the proficiencies exhibited by project managers in stakeholder management within their projects, and to what they perceive and recognize as important and significant in stakeholder management within their projects. It will investigate and explore project managers' perceptions of the significance of stakeholder management and further analyze how these perceptions influence project outcomes and overall success. The research will further investigate the most effective and practical strategies in managing stakeholders and they evolve at different levels of perceived importance by project managers. Through an mixed methods approach, integrating qualitative focus group discussions with quantitative survey questionnaires to ensure a comprehensive analysis, this research elucidates the prevailing attitudes and practices of project managers in managing stakeholders. By contributing to a deeper understanding of stakeholder management practices within Singapore’s built environment, this research aims to present and share valuable insights for both academic scholarship and practical advancement in stakeholder management specifically aimed at project managers & key stakeholders within construction projects.
