Abstract: This report aims to investigate in the theory of 3 dimensional photography and creating stereo effect from 2 dimensional still image and moving image. The device used is ordinary digital camera for still image, and special stereo video camera which has two lenses for moving image. The viewing method used is anaglyph and polarizing filter. Anaglyph image is created using a special software. And polarizing filter are used when the image is projected to the screen. The present video camera has limitation in the fixed baseline. One idea to get better image result is by extending the baseline distance of the video camera. It is achieved by adding a couple of reflective right-angle prisms in front of the lenses. Then the images produced are compared to find the effectiveness of this method. There are some limitation occurred, so some special method should be developed in the future.
