Title: | Design of electronic driving circuits for ultrasound phased array | Authors: | Chon, Jonathan Kok Wai. | Keywords: | DRNTU::Engineering::Electrical and electronic engineering::Electronic circuits | Issue Date: | 2009 | Abstract: | This report describes the design and implementation of an electronic circuit for driving a single ultrasound transducer, as well as the proposal to drive a n-by-n transducer array. The electronic circuit includes a digital delay line, an integrator amplifier, a pulse width modulation generator, a comparator, a power amplifier and a L-C low-pass filter. The prototype circuits demonstrate how a single and phased array driving circuits could be derived. Detailed working principles for each circuit module were discussed with respective output waveforms and illustrations. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/18986 | Schools: | School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
