dc.description.abstractThis report documents the tasks performed, experience gained, and the knowledge acquired by the author during his 30-week Extended Industrial Attachment to Shell Chemicals Seraya (Pte.) Ltd. In the 30 weeks of attachment, most of the time was devoted to the project on the Inspection and Corrosion Condition Monitoring of Titanium Tubing in Heat Exchanger, with key deliverables of a technical paper, “Experience with Titanium Tubing in Chemical Plant” and prediction model, “Maximum Defect Depth Prediction with Extreme Value Analysis (EVA).” The author was also involved in additional assignments outside of his project scope, including organising and planning of events like Family Day 2008, Dinner and Dance 2009 and conducting of survey on Sport and Games 2009 for the Social Committee.en_US
