Abstract: This report describes a 30 week international research attachment at the Karp Laboratory and Carmen Laboratory, which are affiliated with the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology (HST) and Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH), and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Centre (BIDMC) respectively. The organizations, research projects and other responsibilities of the intern are described. In addition, reflections on the research field and work experience are provided.
