Title: Stability of unsaturated residual soil slopes as affected by rainfall
Authors: Gasmo, Jason.
Keywords: DRNTU::Engineering::Civil engineering::Geotechnical
Issue Date: 1997
Abstract: The objective of this research was to study the effect of rainfall on the stability of unsaturated residual soil slopes. The effect of evaporation and infiltration on the pore-water pressure distribution in a slope was determined. Then the effect that the change in pore-water pressure distribution had on the stability of the slope was assessed.
