Abstract: The Marina Basin used in this study is drained by a network of surface drains and the Singapore River which eventually flow into Marina Bay. The presence of pollution loads and the associated deterioration of water quality may lead to aesthetically undesirable consequences and other engineering problems. The objective of the study is to investigate the transport and distribution of the suspended solids in the waterways and the Marina Bay using a numerical model.
