Abstract: Genetic Algorithms (GAs) are innovative search algorithms which imitate the principles of natural evolution as a method to solve parameter optimization problems. The purpose of this project is to investigate and design an optimal PID controller based on the Genetic Algorithms which are used to perform the fine tuning of the PID control parameter settings.
