Abstract: Computed Tomography is widely used for non-invasive diagnosis of the human brain. Together with stereotactic frames, CT images allow for high precision in brain lesion resection operations. In view of the numerous images produced by the CT machine and with increasing cases that require follow-up operations, computer assisted neurosurgery becomes a useful aid for neurosurgeons.
