Title: Application of coding techniques to spread spectrum systems
Authors: Choo, Tze Peng.
Keywords: DRNTU::Engineering::Electrical and electronic engineering
Issue Date: 1993
Abstract: In this study, the performance of a trellis coded spread spectrum multiple access system is examined. The trellis codes examined are 4 state and 8 state codes of rates half, two thrids and three quarter. This study explores this area by following the work of Boudreau. In the process of following the work of Boudreau, it was found that there were several issues in this area which have not been clearly addressed and these issues were examined further in this work. Extensive results are presented to clearly address these issues.
