Abstract: A crystal resonator is characterized by its resonance frequency. It functions as frequency timing control for quartz timing devices. In the production of crystal resonators, the resonance frequency of each crystal resonator is achieved by going through a frequency trimming process. However, the performance of the FTP may degrade with time. This is due to its time varying non linear behaviour.
