Abstract: In this research project an Object-Oriented feature-based parametric CAD system for designing undercut injection moulds was developed. The system uses "relation model" objects to create an optimum undercut injection mould design based on technical and other requirements. It is built on top of a commercial feature-based parametric CAD software package, Pro/ENGINEER, and is implemented using Pro/DEVELOP.
