Abstract

As Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) Systems become more prevalent, emphasis is being placed upon effective production control methods to ensure the system's operational success. On-line control decisions provide a powerful tool to determine the effect upon the system performance from possible alternate scenarios made in real-time.
